About the CounsellorS

Christine Skinner MSW RSW
Christine Skinner is a registered social worker and has worked in the field for over 8 years.
She has worked with military members, veterans and their families. She is a civilian who worked at the Integrated Personel Support Centre (IPSC), part of the Joint Personel Support Unit (JPSU) for ill and injured military members as the Family Liaison Officer (FLO) through the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC-NCR).
She understands the hardships individuals and their families face when living with an Operational Stress Injury (OSI). She has assisted many members and their families through transitioning out of military service and understands the complexities that can come with this challenging time.

Christine also has experience working with individuals, couples and families outside of the military. She understands that relationships are complex, misunderstandings, hurt feelings, confusion and anger are common when relationships are out of sync.  She is passionate about helping people and their relationships get back on track.

Personally, Christine is an avid traveller, enjoys learning about various cultures and parts of the world. She is married into a lovely family where she is step-mom to two quirky, amazing, comic book loving kids.
